Senior Analyst

OVERVIEW:
Support development of architectural landscape; Key technical to support the back end and front end within Pre- Production domain using FlexPLM/JAVA/J2EE/Oracle technologies on Windows Server 2008 and IBM AIX platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages & support technical landscape and solution implementation of PLM program, as well as other applications as assigned.
• Partners with functional team and consulting partners to understand business process and translate to system design docs.
• Supports internal/external developers in the SDLC activities and ensure the timely and quality delivery of deliverables and provide guidelines as needed.
• Supports development of technical landscape in establishing architectural guidelines and design solutions to comply with established architecture.
• Be a self starter in identifying performance bottlenecks and come up with solutions proactively.
• Develop, support and maintain applications by following PMO practices and by getting aligned in a team environment.
• Efficiently Perform SDLC activities.
• Detailed Design.
• Test plan creation.
• Coding.
• Code review.
• Unit testing.
• System testing.
• System deployment.
• Support QA processes through all phases of QA regression & performance testing.
• Take leadership in the development of programming standards for improvements (i.e. architecture, technology, methodology).
• Comply with all change control processes. Contribute to evaluating business requests for new functionality based on development time & schedule.
• Provide leadership in troubleshooting and debugging system problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:& SKILLS

• 4 year BA degree or Community College with Technical Certification.
• 7+ years in software development experience in Java/J2EE technology with experience in enterprise application deployments and production environments.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Retail or Apparel industry preferred.
• Experience in PTC PLM solutions, specifically Windchill/FlexPLM Configuration and System Deployment.
• Posses advanced knowledge of core Java/J2EE technology.
• Advanced knowledge in J2EE deployments in a load balanced environment.
• Strong development experience in Oracle Stored Procedures and SQL on IBM AIX platform.
• Familiarity with SQL tuning and optimization in Oracle 10g.
• Exhibits advanced skills in Web based enterprise application development using Servlets, JSP, EJB, JAVA Script, JAVA-JDBC, XML, VB script, HTML.
• Strong knowledge in MVC architecture and working experience in RMI technology.
• Must be proficient in Active Directory, J2EE Design Patterns concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and complex problem solving skills.
• Self motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision on assignments.
