REPORTING TO:

 Director of Technology



REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Significant experience with RoR projects/web development.
  • Experience with agile/scrum development processes.
  • Must have experience leading development teams.
  • Ability to work in a small, geographically-distributed team using collaboration tools (Skype, IM, email, mingle).
  • Must be detail-oriented and thorough in designing, coding and testing.
  • Must be able to provide and explain code samples of previous work.
  • Familiarity with subversion.
  • Workday overlap with Eastern time zone (UTC-5) and/or GMT.


DESIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES:

  • Test Driven Development.
  • Experience with consuming and exposing SOAP/REST services.
  • Worked with service orientated architectures.
  • Worked with EC2/S3.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Comfortable with the DOM, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX.
