Senior Store Systems Analyst

SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish a detailed understanding of the Point of Sale processes and the software we use to support them
• Maintain images, know how to stage and troubleshoot
• Software Quality Assurance
• Maintain and execute test plans
• Run queries using SQL to perform data analysis
• Support new store opening process
• Configure and Support scanners and other equipment used by stores associates as needed
• Inventory Control - Track all Store Hardware and related equipment, track warranties, and repairs
• Maintain Tax tables used at Point-of-Sale and stay abreast of pending changes
• Assist the Store Help Desk as a level-2 support associate
• Carefully maintain configurations and images that are in production as well as our POS Test Labs
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise in store systems
• Maintain Store User Guide
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal clients in stores, operations, sales audit, etc.
• Follow all IS Department procedures for software development, testing, and implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years technical experience with Point-of Sales systems
• Experience with Datavantage is highly desirable
• Experience with SQL and Relational Database technology required
• Self motivated and enjoys learning new technologies
• Ability to document and record statistics and execute tests with extreme attention to detail
• Ability to work through roadblocks and bring about resolution
• The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills
• The ability to learn new technology quickly and thoroughly
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Willingness to visit local stores to help troubleshoot, train, diagnose issues, etc.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Windows
• A Degree in Computer Science or related field.
