eCommerce Personalization Project Manager

Job Description

Sophelle drives ecommerce personalization for dozens of leading websites. We are looking for a detail-orientated digital project manager to join our eCommerce Personalization Services team. The project manager will work with personalization strategists to develop personalization campaigns, design and manage personalization campaigns for multiple clients, develop new tests, and report on progress. Additional responsibilities include using Certona and other personalization tools for testing, using Excel for analysis and reporting, identifying and resolving issues, and adhering to specifications, and time and cost estimates. You should be adept at juggling multiple, different tasks and liaising with multiple clients and stakeholders.

To be successful as a project manager, you should have sound knowledge of digital marketing concepts and personalization solutions. Outstanding project managers have a long, successful digital marketing background, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.



  • Analyzing personalization test goals and creating tests.
  • Developing project plans and proactive management of individual and team progress.
  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients.
  • Liaising with internal team members, clients, and partners.
  • Establishing good relationships with clients and other professionals.
  • Using Certona, Excel, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in ecommerce personalization.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, computer science, or similar.
  • Practical experience with digital marketing solutions.
  • Sound understanding of ecommerce personalization best practices (see Sophelle’s Focus Report).
  • Positive attitude and deadline-driven.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

Location: U.S. – Remote, must be available Eastern time zone hours
