Timm Henderlight is a thought leader, visionary, and proven, results-driven digital marketing expert with 15+ years experience in Commerce, integrated 3600 marketing, customer experience (CX), analytics, and online strategy. Over the course of his career Timm has worked with many elite global B2C and B2B brands and retailers including Sony, Logitech, Samsung, Fujitsu, Facebook, Western Digital, Lexmark, NEC, Sonos, AMD, Sling Media, Harney & Sons Teas, and REEDS Jewelers focusing on digital strategy, transformation, and roadmapping, developing and executing fully integrated marketing campaigns, ideating company, website, and brand visions, creating and managing owned, earned, and paid media plans, performing platform and business solution systems RFPs, audits, and selections, website and marketplace optimization, Customer and User Experience (CX/UX), multivariate testing, predictive intelligence, behavioral targeting, personalization/individualization, adaptive design, ecommerce operations, customer acquisition, merchandising, and extracting actionable insights from quantitative & qualitative research, data, analytics, and testing results.
Prior to joining Sophelle, Timm co-founded and was CEO of shoezoo.com, a pure-play, athletic footwear and apparel retail startup company. In his role as CEO he had complete organizational fiduciary and P&L responsibility where he navigated high trajectory, exponential company growth culminating in 40-50% gross margins, higher than retail industry average 15% net profit margins, and 250% increases in year-over-year revenue. Under his leadership, shoezoo.com was named to the prestigious Inc 5000 list as the 103rd Fastest Growing Company, #6 in the retail sector.
After a successful exit from shoezoo.com, Timm accepted the position of General Manager at Blue Acorn, an ecommerce software development, website optimization, and testing agency, where he supervised large, complex platform implementations and migrations, complete digital architecture, website feature and functionality development, and integrations to enterprise ERP, CRM, and other third-party systems. His duties also entailed providing strategic Commerce consulting services, ideating ground-breaking website features, functionalities, and responsive designs, and identifying and defining B2C, B2B, omni-channel, and multi-channel business requirements, solutions, and roadmaps to achieve organizational objectives, streamline and automate processes, drive incremental sales and traffic, and reduce costs.
Timm began his Commerce and digital marketing career as an Account Development eMarketing Manager for Digital River, a global provider of Commerce-as-a-Service solutions and ecommerce marketing agency. He has also provided executive level staff augmentation as interim VP of eCommerce and Digital Marketing for PropertyRoom.com and was elected and served on the board of the Orange County American Marketing Association (OCAMA) as Vice-President of Programming.
Timm is frequently called upon to speak at various conferences and events, is quoted in numerous articles and publications, has executive produced client’s commercial video shoots, and has contributed as a marketing consultant in a reality television pilot for TNT.
